Shows

You are invited to attend the Opening Reception for each of our monthly shows.  These events are free and open to the public, feature wine and hors d’ oerves, and a chance to meet the artists and hear them speak about their work at 7 p.m.  Reception date and time are listed with each show.  Click on the links below for images and further information regarding current, upcoming, and past shows.

Current Show 

September 27 to October 7,  2018:  ArtWalk is Grand Haven’s annual show about town.
Gallery Uptown will host Diane Van Noord (mixed media), Richard Johnson (high gloss enamel), Kris Campau (paint and aluminum coffee pods) and Wendy Boyer (glass).

Several Gallery Uptown artists, including Lynne Boezaart, Deb Bowen, Marlan Cotner, Mary Lanka, Helen Percy Lystra, Catherine McClung, and Suzanne Moynihan, are participating in this event.at a variety of venues in Grand Haven.

October 2018: Four X Four X Four is four artists, four media and four styles. The participating artists are Chris Brown, Ken Widing, Glenda VanRaalte and Helen Percy Lystra.
Opening reception will be Friday, October 5 from 5:30-8 p.m.   Please come and enjoy!

 

Upcoming Shows

November 1-17, 2018:  Jon McDonald and Friends”   presents work of Jon McDonald, Nancy Hart, Matt Schenk, Lee S. Brown and students.
The opening reception for this show will be  November 2 from 5:30-8 p.m.

November 21-December 30, 2018:  “Holiday Gifts”
The opening reception will be Friday, December 7 from 5:30-8 pm. to kick off the holiday festivities at Gallery Uptown.

 

Past Shows

September 2018:  “Elemental” (as in earth, air, fire, water) will present work by artists Bev Hundlery, Suzanne Moyihan, Sean Sterzer, Jenna Para, Jerry Harty, and Marlan Cotner. 

August 2018:  “Art Beneath the Bark will feature new work by Doug Brinks, Mary Lanka, and Catherine McClung, as well as by guest artists Ron Campbell, Darrell De Ruiter, Charles Fuentes, Jeff Grill, Steve Loar, Mike McClung, Tom Sampson, and Mary Sundstrom.

July 2018:  “State of MinE” is our annual show that celebrates Michigan with works by Michigan artists Lynne Boezaart,  Julie Hegedus, Cheryl Jordan, Richard Jordan, Mary Sundstrom, Barbara Schilling, and Teresa Wooden.
