The artists and their guest artists will be on hand for each Opening Reception and will speak about their work at 7pm. The public is invited to attend this free event; wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Current Show – May 2016 Colors of the Spirit: A Garden’s Life

“Nature always wears the colors of the spirit” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The life, energy and spirit of the garden are celebrated with an eclectic collection of works by regional artists for the May 3-30 exhibit in the Gallery Uptown’s Walburg Gallery. “Colors of the Spirit: A Garden’s Life,” welcomes oil painter Alla Dickson, needle felt sculptor Suzanne Ditsler, watercolorist Reini Moser, ceramicist Brad Patterson, photographer Ed Post, ceramicist Tonya Rund, oil painter Barbara Schilling, and watercolorist Sheri Woodard.

The show opens with a 5:30-8 p.m. Friday, May 6, wine and hors d’oeuvres reception. The event is free and open to the public. Featured artists will speak about their work at 7 p.m. The May exhibit will remain up and open to the public through the Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 30, and is available for viewing during normal Gallery Uptown business hours.
