Contemporary jewelry and creative works since 1972
Suzanne says this about her work:
“I enjoy creating beautiful things for people to wear. My ideas often come from the woods and water where I live: people at the beach, edges of waves, stars from the big night sky. Sometimes my metal designs use only simple lines and dots. These wire and bead shapes make their own calligraphy reminding me of ancient alphabets and all the mystery they try to explain.”
Suzanne lives in Spring Lake, Michigan where she maintains a studio and teaches.
Suzanne’s formal art education includes: Michigan State University (B.F.A.), Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and Grand Valley State University (M.A.).
